There didn’t change much (yet).
But the French locale got updated (thanks Mathilde!) and there was a major bug which prevented the auto-start option to work at all (thanks to barteltm for pointing at this issue!). Additionally I implemented a popup window requesting the statistics file from you (as described earlier).
All remaining known bugs will be fixed in the next version! (Including drag’n'drop of Slices from one Pie to another and binding Pies to the super-key).
I’m looking forward to your statistics files!

Well, I’d happily send you my statistics file, but I have just started using your awesome launcher today. Are these “young” statistic files also useful?
Edit: Also, what is with config files? Just to show how menus are configured? Or what files would you need to see my menus?
Hey there,
I need the .stats file only. But it’s ok if you send this file within some weeks, I’ll do the final evaluation in 3-4 weeks I suppose, and “older” files are more helpful!
is very nice – make gnome pie for windows xp pliss??
It’s useless for Windows OS
How are you progressing as of now?
Everything is shaping up nicely. I’ll finish my work in mid-September; then there will be time for an update. Sadly I’m not allowed to publish result of my thesis in the Internet before it’s submitted.
But I got statistics by 150 users and developed some interesting new concepts which will be included in Gnome-Pie as well! So stay tuned
Thanks, I will.
*teeters on edge of seat*
Hello Simon.
I have recently updated cinnamon, after that my hotkeys to activate pies don’t even work.
I don’t know if it’s a bug or simple incompatibility in my system.
Maybe correct this in the next version.
Many people would like to run this program in windows environment. If that ever happens, I’ll be the happiest =)
Technically it should be possible since most of the libraries used are platform independent in theory. But it’s not that easy to get a Vala-GLib-Gtk-Cairo-etc environment running in Windows…
But if someone is willing to port Gnome-Pie, I’ll happily support him or her!
